Dan Piltch

The Chief Technology Officer at Xformative, Dan Piltch, is a seasoned technology leader, investor, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in software development, digital product delivery, and high growth tech companies. Throughout his career, Dan has launched more than 100 digital products across industries including healthcare, financial services, telecom, and startups of all sizes. Dan began his professional journey in New York with Accenture (then Andersen Consulting), where he led emerging technology initiatives and worked directly with C-suite executives at global banks and insurers. From there, he founded a marine technology company — a venture he ran for nearly a decade before selling. Building on his entrepreneurial success, Dan founded an international software design and development firm, guiding software strategy for enterprise clients and directly managing product builds for dozens of early-stage companies. After selling that business, he founded Broad Sound Partners, a venture firm focused on investing in and supporting technology-centric companies in software, fintech, and healthcare. Dan holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and serves on several nonprofit and government boards, and holds an elected office on the Town Council in Freeport, Maine.
